When life gives you food intolerances... roast quail






I hope you will forgive me my current obsession with food and all things food related. You see recently I was tested on more than 40 food substances, the things I eat most from almonds to tuna, spinach to soy, tomatoes to salad, rice to pasta... and was told I was intolerant to all but one food: chicken. There are however some variances in intolerance so i'm trying to focus on those items with the lowest values.


For a self confessed foodie this has rather made cooking difficult. No more quick salads or sandwiches. I've had to completely rethink my lunches especially: grilled polenta and courgettes from the garden, roast quail and soup... I've been struggling but experimenting.


Today this landed in my mailbox. Yes I know, I already have a lot of cookbooks but come on: it's Ferran. Adria. from. El. Bulli!
