Scenes from the weekend







+ homegrown fried zucchini flowers according to this recipe. The taste was heavenly (and worth it having to wipe down practically the whole kitchen after frying them).


+ a new favourite restaurant in Brussels: La Buvette. I love restaurants in usual places. La Buvette is in an old butchers shop. We ate at the counter, an amazing meal consisting of

Bouillon: crevette, tomate, blette

Gnocchi, lapin mijote, roquette

Filet de Canard, spatzeles, courgettes

Fromage blue, gateau aux herbes, girolle

Parfait glace au marron, chocolat noir
